Creating a "Pathway" for Today's Emerging Artists

A Message from Our Principal:
My earliest childhood memory at Walnut High School is hearing the Mustang Band play the fight song under the Friday night lights. An unforgettable sound that sparked a lifelong love for the arts. As a former WHS student, I fondly recall the vibrant murals that adorn our campus walls, each one a reflection of the creativity and spirit that define our school.
Now as Principal of Walnut High School I realize the visual and performing arts are more than just extracurriculars, they are a vital part of our identity. From art and choir to dance, drama, and instrumental music, our programs provide students with a professional level experience that complements their outstanding academic education. Our student’s ability to grow their passions in these areas is one of the many highlights of a Walnut education.
Here, creativity thrives. Whether on stage, in the studio, or on the field, our students are empowered to express themselves, develop their talents, and pursue their passions. We invite you to explore our programs and celebrate the rich artistic legacy that continues to shape the Mustang experience.
